    The new ACU-1000 from Raytheon JPS Communications has been upgraded to provide first responders with easier setup and configuration, expansion capabilities via network connectivity, and a more powerful operating system. The ACU-1000 allows for on-scene interoperability and can link radios, SATCOM, cellular, WiFi and landline phones directly and over IP networks, while providing local, regional, state, and wide-area interoperability. The new available modules are completely interchangeable with existing modules providing a plug and play upgrade.
